New Mums Lead Juno Nominations
New mums Sarah Mclachlan and Nelly Furtado have a reason to feel proud today (11FEB04) - they've both picked up five nominations at the JUNO AWARDS, Canada's answer to The Brits..
The pair will battle for the Top Songwriter, Top Album and Top Pop Album prizes, while McLachlan is also nominated for the Juno Fan Choice Award as well as for Top Artist.
And Furtado is also up for Top Single for her hit POWERLESS.
Rockers Nickelback and Celine Dion have both been nominated in four categories, including the Juno Fan Choice Award.
The award ceremony will take place on 4 April (04) at Edmonton, Alberta's REXALL PLACE. Both McLachlan and Furtado are scheduled to perform.
