Natalie Burns Down Trump Cottage

Natalie Cole proved to be an expensive draw when she performed at tycoon Donald Trump's Palm Beach, Florida, club - she accidentally burned down his guest cottage.

According to American tabloid NATIONAL ENQUIRER, the singer's curling iron heated up combustible make-up products, sparking a fire that caused over $1 million (GBP588,200) of damage in a guest cottage at Trump's MAR-A-LAGO CLUB on 17 January (04).

But cool Trump failed to let the blaze upset him or the Cole show by telling guests, "I've had Elton John and Luciano Pavarotti, but Natalie may be the most expensive act I've ever presented."
