Murray's Movie Prompts Shoe Demand
Bill Murray's latest movie THE LIFE AQUATIC WITH STEVE ZISSOU has sparked an unexpected reaction - fans are petitioning for a spin off sports shoe.
An online petition has been created by fans, urging shoemaking giant ADIDAS to manufacture the 'Zissou' sneaker worn by Murray and others in the WES ANDERSON movie.
The shoes were custom-made just for the film and, according to an Adidas spokesperson, there are no plans to manufacture the yellow-and-blue sneakers at all.
Another site, though, shows how you can make your own Zissou sneaker, based on the rare 1960 Adidas ROM shoe, from reissued ROM CLASSICS.
