Murray Didn't Get Into Dope Character

Bill Murray was desperate to complete his marijuana smoking scene in one take in his latest movie THE LIFE AQUATIC WITH STEVE ZISSOU, because the on-set drug substitute was so disgusting.

The veteran funnyman isn't fond of cannabis and being stoned in front of the cameras would only have prolonged the shooting process.

He says, "They usually sort of give you this herbal dust stuff that's horrible and makes you cough. It's not really pleasant and so you definitely want to make sure that you nail the first take."
