Mulholland Drive Star's Royal Past
MULHOLLAND DRIVE star Laura Harring is European aristocracy - she holds the title COUNTESS VON BISMARCK.
The Mexican actress and former MISS USA keeps the fact she was once married to COUNT CARL-EDUARD VON BISMARCK SCHOENHAUSEN (corr) quiet.
The couple amicably divorced when Harring left to pursue an acting career in Hollywood, and she still retains her Countess title.
Harring, 40, says, "We're still very good friends. I'm still a countess. I lived in a castle. It was very much like a fairytale. But we were very young.
"When I divorced him I didn't take anything. Our families are really good friends. It seems like it was so long ago."
