Motorhead Rock Royal Opera House

Veteran heavy rockers MOTORHEAD have unveiled the most surprising gig of their careers - they're performing at London's ROYAL OPERA HOUSE this Sunday (22FEB04).

The ACE OF SPACE legends - who are officially the loudest band on the planet - agreed to play the normally refined venue as the official launch of the VISIT LONDON week, which is promoting the diverse cultural life of the English capital.

Visit London's Chief Executive DAVID CAMPBELL comments, "Here is the chance to witness music history with one of London's world-famous venues playing host to rock royalty."
