Mos Def Takes Aim At Knight Over Tupac Murder

MOS DEF sparked a new rap war of words on Thursday night (3NOV05) when he delivered a tirade against music mogul MARION 'SUGE' KNIGHT during a show in Los Angeles.

The usually mild-mannered rapper-turned-actor was performing at the Gibson Amphitheater when he questioned Knight's part in the death of his hero TUPAC SHAKUR, who was the victim of a drive-by shooting in Las Vegas, Nevada almost a decade ago (96).

Knight, who was sitting beside Shakur on the night he was shot, was not in the audience for the Mos Def show, but that didn't stop the rapper from picking on him.

Def, real name DANTE SMITH, fumed he was looking for Knight during his stay in Los Angeles and wanted to know, "Who shot my man?"
