Morton Furious With British Magazines
Actress Samantha Morton has blasted British magazines, accusing them of passing over home-grown talent in favour of Hollywood stars.
The Minority Report actress, who is currently on the cover of London magazine TIME OUT, claims it is rare for publications to feature British actresses like her.
She says, "Most magazines 99 per cent of the time put an American star on the cover, even if we have a British film coming out with a British actress in it.
"It's like, 'Oh she's not famous enough.' Unless she's Keira Knightley, who has been endorsed by the Americans, so she's marketable. You need the American stamp."
