Mortimer Rubbishes Take That

EAST 17 frontman TONY MORTIMER has slammed rival boy band TAKE THAT's comeback tour, claiming they exploited speculation about an unlikely reunion with former member ROBBIE WILLIAMS to sell tickets. Take That recently reunited after a ten-year hiatus and began their tour late last month (23APR06), but Mortimer insists the band only received news coverage after cashing in on solo star Williams' success. He says, "They are just a trumped-up VILLAGE PEOPLE tribute band. They covered BARRY MANILOW! "Would there be that much interest in Take That if they hadn't played the Robbie card?" However, East 17 have followed the NEVER FORGET hitmakers' example - they are planning an onstage reunion at London's Shepherd's Bush Empire on 30 May (06).

	What is wrong with you people???? First of all East 17 was a great a band and Tony is a talented song writer and singer for god sakes he wrote all the songs! Second of all - Take That - come on they sucked!!! The only talented singers in that band was Gary Barlow & Robbie Williams...

	Love it!!!! How jealous is he? I went to see TT last week. They sang and danced just as good as they used to. Brought back good memories! Bet Tony couldn't sing and dance like he used to. I've heard he can't even remember the lyrics to his own songs!! What am I saying??!! Tony Mortimer never couldn't sing and dance in the first place. Any reality shows in the pipeline Tone? xxx

	Brian Tony Terry John, these are the lads that turn the girls on. Bring the boys back. Ill be there, every single concert, every single one, and i will sing every single word to every single song and i will love them all til the day i die!!!!!!!
