Morrissey: 'I Hate Blair's Face'

Former THE SMITHS frontman MORRISSEY has lashed out at British Prime Minister TONY BLAIR and his wife CHERIE for the way they look. The angry rocker has aimed unflinching criticism at Blair in the past over his involvement in the war in Iraq, branding him an "egotistical dictator". And now the IRISH BLOOD ENGLISH HEART singer has focused his wrath on the Blairs' faces and the expressions they pull. Morrissey fumes, "I don't like his face, I don't like his expression. I don't think anybody else does. "And I can't stand Cherie Blair's face, I just wonder if there can ever be a photograph of her where she has her mouth shut."

I've never understood why poeple seem to think Stephen Morrissey's opinions are worth listening to. The Smiths are OK as a pop group (mainly because of Johnny Marr's guitar playing) but sections of the music press idolise him to a ridiculous extent. I'd agree about Tony's face being a bit irrtating...but it doesn't make me throw up a little in my mouth the same way Morrisey's whining mug does.
