More Stars Vote For Change
Sheryl Crow, surf rocker Jack Johnson and Crosby, STILLS + NASH have climbed aboard America's VOTE FOR CHANGE TOUR.
The newly-announced acts will join Bruce Springsteen, the Dave Matthews BAND, Pearl Jam and R.E.M among the politically-motivated rockers trying to urge young people to vote in the upcoming American presidential election in November (04).
The artists hope their efforts will prompt fans to vote against PRESIDENT George W Bush, and thus force him from office.
Johnson and Crosby, Stills + Nash will join Jackson Browne, Bonnie Raitt and KEB MO' at a Vote For Change gig in Arizona on 29 September (04). Crow will replace Jackson Browne at a concert in Jacksonville, Florida, on 8 October (04).
More than 20 acts will perform at concerts in 30 cities across America, before the grand finale in Miami in October (04), which will feature Pearl Jam, Dave Matthews Band, R.E.M., Springsteen and THE E STREET BAND, Ben Harper, JOHN FOGERTY, Dixie Chicks and James Taylor.
