Moran Judges Friends On Their Reaction To His Fame

LOCK, STOCK AND TWO SMOKING BARRELS star NICK MORAN is thrilled with the way fame altered his life - because now he knows who his real friends are.

The actor/writer is the first to admit the GUY RITCHIE movie changed him, but he is grateful to his celebrity for finally showing him who his true supporters are.

He says, "I'd like to think it didn't affect me and didn't change me but it must have done.

"Suddenly I was being invited to things and I got absorbed by a machine, really, this world of PR and glitz.

"The people around me changed. Friends became resentful and bitter. I could judge who were my real pals - and who weren't."
