Moore Tops 'Least Powerful' Poll
FAHRENHEIT 9/11 director MICHAEL MOORE tops this year's (04) Frigid 50 list - an annual collection of Hollywood's least-inspiring, least-intriguing celebrities.
Despite causing controversy in the run-up to the American presidential election with his criticism of GEORGE W BUSH, he has been named on the list of personalities who have "left audiences cold with their overbearing personalities, poor career choices and chronic inability to stop making fools of themselves".
The poll was organised by website FILMTHREAT.COM and Moore got the honour because editors hated his large ego. They write, "Remember, it's not always about you. Lose the chip on your shoulder.
"No presidential candidate endorsed by Michael Moore has ever won an election. So, Michael, why not endorse a Republican in 2008, just to see what happens?"
Also included in the top 50 were HALLE BERRY, WALT DISNEY chief executive MICHAEL EISNER, NICOLE KIDMAN and REESE WITHERSPOON.23/11/2004 14:04
