British girl group MIS-TEEQ are splitting up to pursue solo projects.
The sexy trio - ALESHA DIXON, SABRINA WASHINGTON and SU-ELISE NASH - have scored a series of top ten British singles with tunes including ALL I WANT, ONE NIGHT STAND and SCANDALOUS since launching to fame in 2001 with WHY.
However, Mis-Teeq decided to part company during a meeting last week (ends28JAN05) to give each member the freedom to launch solo careers.
The group's final release will be a cover of THE ANDREWS SISTERS classic 1940s tune SHOO SHOO BABY for the soundtrack of upcoming movie VALIANT.
A spokesman confirms, "After eight years together and seven top ten hits Alesha, Sabrina and Su-Elise will explore other opportunities."01/02/2005 09:19
