Minogue Quits As Face Of Children's Charity
Kylie Minogue has resigned from her role as the face of a children's charity, after the organisation was hit by a series of financial scandals.
The Australian superstar, 36, and her father RON have quit from telephone counselling service BOYSTOWN, which has struggled to recover from monetary crises - including a fraud investigation into former chief executive Brother Paul Smith.
A source says, "This is a massive blow, especially after all the work Kylie's done. The Minogues certainly weren't happy to be associated with all this scandal."
The organisation, which is run by a Catholic charity, receives around half-a-million calls from confused youngsters each year.
