Minnelli Shocked About Sex Therapist Film Role
Liza Minnelli wishes she had seen the script for her new film THE OH IN OHIO before signing up, because she had no idea she'd be playing a pleasure-obsessed sex therapist.
The CABARET star agreed to play sex expert Alyssa Donahue when pal Parker Posey, who also stars in the film, asked her to take the role.
Minnelli donned a blonde Andy Warhol wig for the part, but had no idea her character would touch on subject matter she finds taboo.
She says, "When I got the script I cannot tell you how embarrassing it was.
"It was all about self-gratification... I was so embarrassed."
