AUSTIN POWERS star VERNE TROYER shocked American TV viewers by urinating in public on reality show SURREAL LIFE because he wanted to show castmate JOANIE LAURER he was upset she'd stolen his room.

The pair were among the six housemates on the outrageous VH1 show and pint-sized Troyer sent ratings soaring on the first episode when he appeared drunk and naked and started urinating in the former wrestler's bedroom.

The actor admits he was a little drunk but he was planning to get back at Laurer, aka CHYNNA, for stealing his room - and the urinating incident seemed perfect.

He explains, "When I got there I was the last one to get to the house and I found out that Chynna had took my room and I got mad. I wasn't going to compromise, definitely.

"I was gonna leave the show but nobody wanted me to leave, so I stayed and, as far as the urination, what it comes down to is I was marking my territory."
