Mills Given Second Tv Chance With Royal Wedding Show

SIR PAUL McCARTNEY's wife HEATHER MILLS has been given a second chance to fulfil her TV presenting dream - LARRY KING has invited her to cover British royal PRINCE CHARLES' wedding for his US talk show.

The former model's last stint on King's show was branded "embarrassing" by critics, who were appalled when she grilled actor PAUL NEWMAN about his son's death from drink and drugs, despite his refusal to discuss the subject.

And Mills, who lost her leg in a 1993 car crash, caused further controversy on the CNN show in 2002, when she removed her artificial limb and passed it to the uncomfortable host.

But despite her critical-mauling, King is convinced Mills will prove critics wrong when she hosts a Royal wedding edition of the show, covering the prince's wedding to fiancee CAMILLA PARKER BOWLES this Saturday (09APR05).

A source explains, "We were surprised Heather was asked back. But obviously someone had decided she has potential.

"It's generally known that Larry King is a big fan of hers."
