Michael Caine To Play Nicolas Cage's Dad

British actor Michael Caine has signed up to play Nicolas Cage's father in the upcoming movie The Weather Man.

In the film - which starts shooting on 23 February (04) in Chicago, Illinois - Caine will portray a PULITZER PRIZE-winning author who's the father of Cage's character.

Cage will play a successful TV weathercaster who's about to leave Chicago for New York. Hope Davis will play his estranged wife in the film.
