Messy Morrissey Works With Morricone
Morose rocker MORRISSEY was shocked celebrated Italian composer ENNIO MORRICONE agreed to collaborate with him - he assumed he'd be rejected for being too scruffy.
The former SMITHS frontman was thrilled when Morricone, who has composed the scores for over 500 films including THE GOOD THE BAD AND THE UGLY, accepted his offer.
He says, "The Maestro came into the studio with his orchestra. I was delighted that he said yes to scruffy old me.
"In the event he was heavily shielded, and there was no way that he and I would end up at the local playing darts. But that's ok.
"Life's rich tapestry and so on."
