Mel C Would Not Have Chosen Spices As Friends

Former SPICE GIRL Melanie CHISHOLM would never have been friends with her ex-bandmates if she wasn't in a group with them.

And the NORTHERN STAR hitmaker says she's glad to now be a solo artist as she was uncomfortable with the level of bullying that went on inside the girl group.

She recalls, "I'm not going to lie, but there was quite a lot of bullying that went on in The Spice Girls and it was not necessarily from just one person.

"It was a gang of girls. It's like an office or anywhere that people work together. There's always something going on.

"Now that I know them very well I don't know if I would have chosen them as friends."
