McGregor Loses Mullet And Gains A Beard For Sith
Scottish actor Ewan McGregor has been kept amused by his ever-changing hairstyles in the STAR WARS series.
In the upcoming final film, EPISODE III - REVENGE OF THE SITH, the screen star even branches out into facial hair, as movie bosses were keen to recreate the iconic image of original OBI-WAN KENOBI, Alec Guinness.
McGregor, who plays the young Obi-Wan Kenobi in the three prequels, explains, "It's not a big fluffy beard, just a goatee. It's been more important this time to get an Alec Guinness look and feel.
"Initially there was talk of a wig as well, but I fought that.
"(My hair) is no longer a mullet, which I sported beautifully in EPISODE II (ATTACK OF THE CLONES).
"I've passed that on to Hayden Christensen. He now carries the mullet flame through Episode III."
