McGraw Praised By Stepmother
LATEST: Country star Tim Mcgraw has been praised by his father FRANK 'TUG' McGRAW's first wife for making the sports hero's final months pleasant.
McGraw didn't know the identity of his biological father until, aged 11, he stumbled across his birth certificate, but despite their strained start, Tim stood by his father until the end.
The baseball star died at the home McGraw shares with wife Faith Hill and their kids on 5 January (04), after a lengthy battle with brain cancer.
And his first wife PHYLLIS McGRAW says, "Tim stepped in and found the best doctors. It extended Tug's life for eight months."
