McConaughey Takes Cruz On Romantic Break

Matthew Mcconaughey is proud to take girlfriend Penelope Cruz on a road trip in his mobile home, because he rates it a more luxurious experience than staying in a five-star hotel.

The Sahara co-stars are set to shun expensive accommodation as they travel across America in the hunky actor's house on wheels - which he favours for the privacy and technological facilities it allows.

McConaughey, 35, says, "I love my mobile home, I can really feel my independence.

"It's great having my own four walls instead of staying in hotels all the time. Instead, I have a satellite so I can connect to my mobile office at any time.

"I have my own bed, a little kitchen, a grill and fresh water.

"It's not quite a five-star hotel, but I like it better."
