McClarnon Kick Starts Solo Career

Former ATOMIC KITTEN singer Liz Mcclarnon's solo career is finally picking up - almost a year after the girl group split.

None of the chart-topping three-piece - McClarnon, Natasha Hamilton, JENNY FROST - have achieved the solo success they craved since taking a break in January (04).

But McClarnon looks to be heading in the right direction - she has hired leading pop producer GARY WILKINSON to write her songs.

Wilkinson has worked with Sophie Ellis Bextor and Badly Drawn Boy in the past.

A source says, "Liz loves what Gary's done with other acts and is confident that he'll find her perfect sound.

"They'll start working together after Christmas and are hoping the tracks will be ready by spring (05)."
