McCartney Knocked Off The Top Of Britain's Rich List
Rock legend SIR PAUL McCARTNEY has been ousted from his position at the top of the British music rich list - by record boss CLIVE CALDER.
The former BEATLE has been pushed down to number two by the ZOMBA boss, who works with acts like BRITNEY SPEARS and 'N SYNC. Calder's fortune is reportedly around $2,223 million (GBP1,235 million), compared to McCartney's $1,404 million (GBP760 million).
Other notable figures on the music list include SIR ANDREW LLOYD WEBBER at number three with $720 million (GBP400 million), MADONNA and GUY RITCHIE at number six with $387 million (GBP215 million), and SIR ELTON JOHN at joint ninth position with STING both with $315 million (GBP175 million) in the bank.16/04/2004 02:02
