May Pulls Out Of Eric's Festival

QUEEN star BRIAN MAY has pulled out of a scheduled performance at ERIC CLAPTON's CROSSROADS GUITAR FESTIVAL in Dallas, Texas, next month (JUN04) - because he's too busy.

The stressed guitarist admits he was trying to book too many appearances at the same time, and a trip to America wasn't practical.

In a posting on his website, May writes, "I just got to the point where I realised the pressure of work was insane.

"I couldn't have done it justice in this period of intense commitment to new WE WILL ROCK YOU shows, and life as it is right now."

The Queen musical We Will Rock You has recently added Melbourne, Australia and Madrid, Spain to the list of cities it's currently playing in.
