Marcil Under Attack For 90210 Character

American actress Vanessa Marcil is glad her days on TV show BEVERLY HILLS 90210 are behind her - because she was once pelted in a supermarket over her character's actions.

Marcil admits that while she was playing GINA on the show, she was stunned at how passionate fans would get over her screen antics.

She says, "When I was on 90210, I played a bad girl, and one time when I was in the grocery store, I suddenly felt a plum hit me in the back of the head. This woman was throwing fruit at me and yelling about something that I did on the show!"
