Mandy Moore Admits Movie Flop

Actress and singer MANDY MOORE admits her new film HOW TO DEAL has been a flop.

The A WALK TO REMEMBER star's latest movie opened with only $5.8 million (GBP3.5 million) when it came out in America last month (JUL03), but the brunette teen remains candid about her disappointment.

She says, "It bombed.

"It's my first experience going through something like that. You can't let it bother you. If you live and die by everything, you're never going to make it. You can't live film to film. That's my take on it.

"In the scheme of things, it's not all about one film or one record. And hopefully people will still be accepting of me in both of the roles and allow me the opportunity to go off and potentially make better films."

The 19-year-old has plenty more projects in the pipeline, including the comedy SAVED, with MACAULEY CULKIN, and the ELIJAH WOOD movie ALL I WANT.
