Man Who Introduced Jackson To Accuser Testifies
LATEST: The MICHAEL JACKSON child molestation trial yesterday (29MAR05) heard evidence from the man who introduced the singer to his teenage accuser.
JAMIE MASADA, who owns the LAUGH FACTORY comedy camp for under-privileged children, said GAVIN ARVIZO - then 13 and suffering from cancer - asked to meet the THRILLER star.
Masada said that out of all the celebrities he promised to introduce Arvizo to, Jackson was the one the teenager most wanted to meet, and the singer promptly agreed to his request.
Masada told the Santa Maria, California, court that he also offered the boy gifts to boost his morale and recovery.
He said, "I would say, if you eat, I'll give you $50. I would give him every week, maybe some money."
Jackson is currently on trial for 10 felony charges of child molestation, administering an intoxicating agent and conspiracy involving allegations of child abduction, false imprisonment and extortion in Santa Maria, California.30/03/2005 13:49
