Bill Maher - Maher Sued By Former Love

American comedian BILL MAHER is being sued by former love COCO JOHNSEN for $9 million (GBP5 million) in compensation over his treatment of her during their 17-month relationship.

Ex-model and air stewardess Johnsen claimed the POLITICALLY INCORRECT host enticed her to give up her flying career with false promises to marry her and buy her the Beverly Hills, California home, once owned by BEN AFFLECK and JENNIFER LOPEZ.

Maher has slammed the suit as "frivolous and false", and predicts a judge will throw the case out of court.

Johnsen's lawsuit alleges Maher convinced her to quit her 12-year job with DELTA AIRLINES so she could be his full-time girlfriend.

Johnsen's more serious allegations include racial abuse, and making physical threats.

She claims she ended the relationship in May (04).
