Madsen Explains Feelings For Giamatti To Son

VIRGINIA MADSEN's screen kiss with PAUL GIAMATTI in the movie SIDEWAYS has put the actress in an awkward situation - her 10-year-old son is now wants to know if they're enjoying a romance.

Madsen, who received an OSCAR nomination for her role in the critically-acclaimed movie, admits that JACK, her son with ex ANTONIO SABATO JR, recently forced her to explain herself.

She says, "My son kept asking me whether I really liked Paul. He was very interested in knowing whether or not you have to like someone to kiss them onscreen.

"I told him, 'No, but it does help.' Fortunately, I adore Paul, and I have recently come to discover that he is really handsome in a tux."
