Lost Drake Track Uncovered
22 March 2004A lost Nick Drake recording has been unearthed for a new album.
It is believed that new track TOE THE LINE is the last tune the tragic folk-rock legend recorded before his death in 1974.
The track was discovered during an examination of archives collected by Drake's friends and associates for new rare songs compilation I WAS MADE TO LOVE MAGIC.
Among the other songs on the new project, which is due for release this summer (04), is a five minute rendition of classic THREE HOURS.
Drake died from an overdose of anti-depressant medication.
