Los Angeles Goes Crazy For Diamond

Neil Diamond has been forced to add a third and final date to his stint at Los Angeles' Staples Center this autumn (05) after selling out the first two nights in record-breaking time.

The SWEET CAROLINE crooner's 30 September (05) visit to the music mecca sold out in less than a day earlier this month (MAY05) and now tickets are gone for his second date the following night (01OCT05).

So the singer has added a third date (02OCT05).

A Staples Center spokesman says, "This is really unusual. Some acts sell out quickly and add another night but to add two more really does suggest Neil Diamond is a big ticket."
