LATEST: English singer JOE LONGTHORNE's condition is improving after he fell into a coma during his cancer battle last month (JUL05).
The PASSING STRANGERS hitmaker, 50, was admitted to the Manchester Royal Infirmary in June (05) after undergoing a bone marrow transplant. He has been fighting non-Hodgkin's lymphoma since 1988.
Longthorne's tour manager ZEB WHITE said the singer had been "improving slightly" over the last few days.
White explains, "Hopefully soon it should reach a level when blood transfusions are no longer necessary."04/08/2005 14:12
