Ll Cool J Creates Jobs By Launching Clothing Line

LL Cool J has decided to start up a new fashion line - to create more jobs for the unemployed.

The Phenomenon rapper will follow in the footsteps of SEAN 'P DIDDY' COMBS, Outkast, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, 50 CENT and Nelly with his own fashion line, which will bear his real name - JAMES TODD SMITH - and cater toward an upscale market.

He tells ALLHIPHOP.COM, "I am going to do upscale, sexy clothing and create jobs for the community. Every time I go around I hear, 'Yo I need a job.' They will have to be qualified for it but at least I can provide jobs, even if it is two jobs, that is better then no jobs."

Stores carrying the line will be picked by the rapper himself, to ensure the exclusivity of the line, which will include shirts, suits, t-shirts, jeans and "classy gear".

He adds, "It is going to be hot and people are gonna want to be involved in it. So we pick the retailer that we feel right about it being at, so that we can keep stimulating that growth."

i believe that the article was a little incorrect about ll cool j and saying that he was following in the footsteps of SEAN 'P DIDDY' COMBS, OUTKAST, SNOOP DOGG, EMINEM, 50 CENT and NELLY you cant forget that he was one of the starters who had there own clothing line you cant forget about FUBU "for us by us" back then he was trying to do the same thing and trying to help the community my big thing you saying he was following the phenomenon in actuality he began it
