Live 8 Becomes 10 As Pet Shop Boys Head For Moscow
The organiser's of this weekend's (02JUL05) Live 8 global concerts have added another show to the impressive line-up in Moscow, Russia.
The Pet Shop Boys will headline this concert - the 10th Live 8 event to be staged on Saturday - with Russian acts BRAVO, B-2 and VALERY SUTKIN supporting them.
Last week (ends24JUN05), a ninth concert was added in Tokyo, Japan, featuring Bjork and pop punks Good Charlotte.
Meanwhile, Alicia Keys, Josh Groban, Black Eyed Peas and country star TOBY Keith have been added to the line-up of the Live 8 concert in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
The three acts join Rob Thomas, Will Smith, SEAN 'P DIDDY' COMBS and Stevie Wonder at the Philadelphia's Museum of Art show, which will be co-hosted by Brad Pitt, Salma Hayek, Natalie Portman and Jennifer Connelly.
And rocker Neil Young will make one of his first live performances since suffering a brain aneurysm in March (05) when he's joined by a choir onstage at the Canadian leg of the proceedings.
Live 8 concerts will now be staged in Tokyo, Moscow, London, Philadelphia, Paris, France; Berlin, Germany; Rome, Italy; Barrie, Canada; Johannesburg, South Africa, and Cornwall, England.
