Linda Fiorentino Answers Men In Black Rumours

Actress Linda Fiorentino has set the record straight on a number of rumours about her role in record-breaking film Men In Black.

Movie insiders have long speculated on how Linda won the part of DR LAUREL WEAVER in the original movie, and why she did not appear in the sequel.

In response to suggestions that she won the part in a poker game, the actress replies, "Well, I met (director) Barry Sonnenfeld in a poker game, and by the end of it, I had the job. And I did win the game."

And to speculation that co-star Tommy Lee Jones refused to work with her on the 2002 follow-up, Linda answers, "False. I wasn't available."
