Lewis Praises Iggy

Juliette Lewis has no interest in whether Iggy Pop's performances are fuelled by drugs or adrenaline because he defines rock music today.

The actress-turned-rocker is a huge fan of The Stooges legend and aspires to replicate his wild stage persona.

She says, "Iggy is rock. I've been a fan since I was a kid. His appeal really is all about raw power.

"That's just from what he has in him - whether he's got chemicals in him or not. He loves the stage, he's beautiful to look at.

"He's the closest thing to that superhuman ideal in rock that anybody is. His voice just has so much power and such an amazing growl."
