Lewis' Licence Mischief

Rocker JULIETTE LEWIS intentionally drove without a driver's licence until she was 23-years-old because she detests authority.

The YOU'RE SPEAKING MY LANGUAGE singer has a flagrant disregard for the US police force and takes any opportunity available to flout the rules.

She says, "I did drive until I was 23 without a licence because I love the idea of f**king the system. For a while that worked but it's hard to travel or get a passport if you don't have a driver's licence.

"I'm really defiant when it comes to authority. Like if a cop pulls me over, rather than wait for his long authoritative speech I'll go, 'I'm in a rush, give me the ticket, I gotta go.'"
