Lewis: 'Hollywood Rejection Helped My Music Career'

JULIETTE LEWIS credits the constant rejection she faced in her Hollywood career with giving her the strength to cope with the pitfalls of the music industry.

The actress-turned-singer remains unfazed by the hardships associated with her reincarnation as lead singer of JULIETTE AND THE LICKS - as she views it as a necessary evil to pursuing her true passion.

Lewis, 32, says, "The irony is, that the movie business has set me up real nice for what to expect in music, because I know about rejection, judgment, long hours - all these things you need to accept if you're serious about doing music."
