The original manuscript of JOHN LENNON's hit song GIVE PEACE A CHANCE is to be sold at a London auction house in November (05).
The late BEATLE composed the track on 1 June 1969 during a staged honeymoon 'bed-in' for world peace at a Montreal, Canada, hotel with his second wife YOKO ONO, and the song shot to chart success a month later.
The piece is being auctioned at Bonhams in the British capital on 19 November (05) and is expected to fetch in the region of $360,000 (GBP200,000).
Lennon's lyrics to I'M ONLY SLEEPING are also up for auction at the sale.
