Lennon Caught In Plane Flame Drama
SEAN LENNON was among 300 passengers left in a state of panic when a Boeing 747 was forced to make an emergency landing at New York City's JFK airport after an engine caught fire.
The son of late BEATLE JOHN LENNON was shocked when he heard other passengers telling cabin crew about flames under one of the wings on his Saturday (31DEC05) flight.
The plane's pilot quickly shut down the faulty engine before making a safe landing just minutes after take-off. The aircraft was supposed to have flown to London's Heathrow Airport.
