JOHN LENNON's entire back catalogue of solo songs will be available for download by 6 December (05) - two days before the 25th anniversary of his death.
The former BEATLE's posthumous greatest hits album WORKING CLASS HERO is already available and there are plans to release some tracks as cell phone ring tones.
Lennon was assassinated by crazed fan MARK CHAPMAN in New York City on 8 December 1980.
His widow YOKO ONO predicts the IMAGINE hitmaker would be thrilled by the move: "New technology is something he always embraced, and this is something he would have loved."
