Lemony Snicket Director Fuming Over Script Delay
Director BRAD SIBLING has slammed movie bosses for failing to write a script for a sequel of his hit movie LEMONY SNICKET'S A SERIES OF UNFORTUNATE EVENTS.
Sibling complains that although the JIM CARREY-starring film took seven months to shoot, he could make a second installment in just seven weeks.
But despite his enthusiasm and the film's box office success, movie giant PARAMOUNT PICTURES has failed to create a script for its follow-up.
He says, "I asked the studio how they were going to deal with the sequel. But they didn't want to talk about it until the first film was out.
"It's amazing. A script has not yet been worked on for the sequel, which I find a bit baffling.
"After all these obstacles on this I'm thirsting after an experience that will be brief, an intimate story that instead of shooting in seven months, I could shoot in seven weeks. It's kind of nice."08/04/2005 19:14
