Labelle To Guest Judge On Nashville Star

Soul star Patti Labelle will switch genres when she appears as a guest judge on US TV show NASHVILLE STAR next week (25APR06). The 61-year-old will give contestants hoping to find fame as a country singer useful hints and tips about forging a successful career as a recording artist. Nashville Star producer JEFF BOGGS tells MTV, "Her advice for our contestants will be invaluable - so much of country music's heritage comes from rhythm and blues."
