Labelle: 'Please Cover Me'

Soul legend Patti Labelle loves having her songs covered by younger stars - because it keeps the memory of her music alive.

Rapper Nelly and DESTINY'S CHILD star Michelle Williams have drawn on LaBelle's tunes, and the singer insists the attention helps her stay in touch with the ever-changing face of music.

She explains, "Whenever they do my songs, I know I'm in the land of the living,"
