Knoxville Defends His Sick Criticisms

Jackass curator Johnny Knoxville has blasted back at the American critics who have branded his new film sick - insisting it is "a very sweet film".

The budding actor has just completed filming on THE RINGER as a man pretending to be disabled so he can compete in the SPECIAL OLYMPICS - but the project has come up against stiff criticism throughout US.

He says, "It sounds like it has the possibility of being mean spirited, but it's just the opposite.

"It's actually a very sweet film, it's been one of the best experiences of my life."
