Knightley's Bennet Role Is A Dream Come True
Keira Knightley was terrified about playing heroine ELIZABETH BENNET in the new film version of JANE AUSTEN'S classic novel PRIDE AND PREJUDICE - because it's such an important role for her.
Despite starring alongside Hollywood greats like Johnny Depp and describing the part as "every girl's dream", the 20-year-old British actress insists she is still daunted.
The BEND IT LIKE BECKHAM star says, "There is a huge pressure taking on a role like Elizabeth Bennet but it's one of the best roles in literature for girls, so if you get a chance to play her, you definitely can't say no.
"But equally it is scary because when you read Pride and Prejudice you sort of feel like you own her. I know I did."
