Knightley Can't Cope Without Pa

Stressed Keira Knightley has hired a personal assistant, despite having always vowed not to do the 'Hollywood thing'.

The Bend It Like Beckham actress hates people making decisions on her behalf, but the filming of her lastest movie Pride And Prejudice left her overwhelmed with paperwork.

She says, "There was correspondence from builders, scriptwriters, telephone people and friends. Just piles and piles of it everywhere - which sent my stress levels through the roof."

But her decision to get help has amused her Pirates Of The Caribbean co-star Jack Davenport.

Knightley explains, "My PA called to arrange dinner and Jack called me up screaming his head off with laughter because he thought I was being so starry, getting my people to talk to his people kind of thing."
